Position Status: Casual Location: Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, Pharmacy BW Hours: 0.00 FTE: 0.00 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0800-1615 Union: Non Union GSS Rate of Pay: According to qualifications and experience PCN: N/A

Reporting directly to the Program Director, Pharmacy Services, this support position is responsible for performing routine duties associated with preparing client-specific medications, such as the efficient use of pharmacy equipment and processing orders. This position also supports the administration of pharmacy services, including maintaining inventory control and other related duties as required. The duties of this position are carried out in an environment focused on customer service.

A Pharmacy Assistant certificate or diploma is preferred

Basic Computer skills (MS Office and FileMaker) required

Experience in a long term or acute care hospital pharmacy is preferred

Experience in a community pharmacy may be considered
