Yukon Pump Ltd
Yukon Pump Ltd is looking for a shop labourer. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm with a one hour lunch. Knowledge of hydraulic fittings, pumps, filters, etc is not required, we will train the right person.
Assist customers in finding their desired product via email, phone, and in person
Order stock in conjunction with the shipper receiver
Manually build hydraulic hoses according to customer and fitting specifications, including the use of a hydraulic crimping machine
Be able to identify different fitting styles and thread types for hydraulic, water, fuel, and more
Manually build water and fuel hoses according to customer specifications
Prepare water and fuel tanks for customers with their desired configurations
Sell various fuel, oil and water pumps, and be able to troubleshoot customer concerns
Sell a variety of fuel, oil, and air filters
Cleaning the shop
Operate a forklift
Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
- Class 5 drivers license with a clean abstract
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
Starting wage is $30.00 hourly and based on experience. Expected hours of work per week is 40 hours (full time).
