Perform tasks in the maintenance, repair, and improvement of facilities ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems
Action work orders, investigate tenant/client complaints, identify solutions, and resolve problems with HVAC/refrigeration equipment
Start HVAC systems, test lines to detect leaks, and record readings to ensure system is functioning accurately
Assemble, install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and/or air conditioning systems and components
Adhere to Edon's Quality Management System policies as well as OHS legislation and regulations
Minimum of four years of experience as a licensed Technician
Holds a Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Refrigeration Technician certificate
Journeyman certificate in the area of HVAC (e.g. Sheet Metal, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) considered an asset
Minimum four years' operational experience in facility operations
Ability to read plans as applied to technical areas
Owns basic HVAC tools to perform maintenance and repairs
Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
Holds a valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning certificate
