Court Services Branch is responsible for delivery of all court administration and sheriff services in the province of British Columbia. This includes case documentation and adjudication support, court and courthouse security and court order enforcement. In developing reforms, the branch works closely with the judiciary, Crown prosecutors, the bar, police, and corrections authorities.
The Court Clerk provides administrative support to all levels of the Court in the province by performing pre-court, in-court, and post court duties and providing front counter court services.
Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED).
Minimum of two years’ administrative support or customer service experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum of one-year previous work experience in keyboarding, data entry, word processing, and working with standard computer applications and software programs (e.g., Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
C. drivers’ licence.

Experience in court programs and applications (e.g., Experience as a Court Clerk and/or Registry Clerk.
One year of previous work experience in a legal environment.

This position has full time on-site requirements.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
