Our client, a global leader in actuarial services and financial advisory, is expanding its Risk Modelling Services team. We are seeking two high-caliber Property & Casualty (P&C) Actuaries—one at the Senior Associate level and one at the Manager level. This is a premier opportunity to transition from traditional corporate actuarial work into a high-visibility consulting role.
This position is 100% remote and open to qualified candidates across all Canadian provinces.
National Flexibility: Work from anywhere in Canada with a permanent, 100% remote arrangement.
Strategic Impact: Go beyond "number crunching" to provide advice on M&A, solvency, risk control, and company restructuring.

Appointed Actuary Support: Lead or manage deliverables for actuarial liability valuations, financial condition testing (FCT), and MCT reporting.

IFRS 17 Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert for IFRS 17 liability modeling and implementation support.
Deploy hands-on pricing and predictive modeling techniques to enhance client underwriting and financial modeling.
Audit Collaboration: Partner with accounting teams to identify and review financial risk issues, ensuring actuarial liabilities are fairly presented in financial statements.
Contribute to the growth of the practice by participating in proposals, building quote estimates, and maintaining key client relationships.
Qualified Actuary (FCAS and FCIA) is highly preferred; candidates in the final stages of their Fellowship will be considered.
Extensive professional background as a P&C Actuary with a deep focus on reserving.
Technical Mandates: Proven, hands-on experience with IFRS 17 and Pricing/Predictive Modeling is essential.
Mastery of reserving or statistical applications such as Arius, R, or @Risk.
Prior experience in a consulting or advisory environment is a significant asset.
Linguistic Asset: Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable.
In this dual-level opening, you will serve as a critical advisor in the actuarial space, bridging the gap between complex data and strategic business decisions. The role focuses on supporting Appointed Actuary deliverables, with a heavy emphasis on IFRS 17 liabilities, MCT guidelines, and audit support. Whether you are leading valuation projects or developing sophisticated predictive models, you will be instrumental in helping clients navigate solvency, risk management, and the impacts of new legislation.
