What Youll Do
Design, build, and maintain core backend systems and APIs for our debt management platform
Work closely with product managers, data engineers, and compliance teams to deliver features that are performant, secure, and compliant
Use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, generate boilerplate code, improve documentation, and accelerate testing
Develop and evolve data models in a document database environment (MongoDB)
Contribute to our CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure, ensuring reliable, repeatable deployments
Collaborate on system architecture and internal tooling to make the team more efficient
Review and debug code with a focus on maintainability, performance, and security

How You'll Use AI
Code generation: Use AI to bootstrap boilerplate services, generate test cases, and write utility functions faster
Dev tooling: Streamline local setup, deployments, and environment config with AI-assisted scripting
Debugging: Accelerate issue resolution by using AI to isolate problems or suggest fixes
Documentation: Use LLMs to document APIs, workflows, and architectural decisions as you go
Cross-team collaboration: Translate technical needs and implementations into clear, accessible updates using AI summarization tools

You Might Be a Fit If You
Have experience building backend applications using Node.js (JavaScript or TypeScript)
Have worked with document databases like MongoDB
Are familiar with AWS services and infrastructure management
