Installation & Commissioning Specialist

Lead the delivery of commissioning and related services for new building construction projects of varying types, sizes, and complexities.

Support the commissioning team in generation of technical documents including commissioning plan, specifications to suite project requirement.

Direct and document commissioning and related testing activities.

Organize project commissioning meetings and provide technical guidance to the project stakeholders.

Conducting test studies on equipment and processes to assess compliance with requirements.

Analysis of test data and collection of samples, where required.

Evaluate the installation and functional performance of building systems to optimize efficiency.

Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot building systems during commissioning phases.

Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary project teams.

Prepare proposals, quotations, and secure new projects.

Provide general support to the Commissiong, Compliance, Testing & Verification team to meet department goals and objectives.

Furthermore, in a context of continuous improvement, be proactive in improving health, safety & environment rules and procedures to prevent potential hazards related to your work.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related Science program.

Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in commissioning.

Possession of a recognized commissioning certification such as Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP), Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), or an equivalent credential demonstrating expertise in commissioning processes.

Knowledge and experience with automated/computerized systems is an asset.

Proficient in English (oral/written), French knowledge (an asset).

Excellent customer service skills.

Flexible with the proven ability to prioritize and work to deadlines.

Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite.
