Reboot Monkey operates 24 datacenter facilities across 6 continents. Every one of those facilities needs reliable, skilled Data Center Technicians (DCTs) who can execute Smart Hands and Remote Hands work to our standard. The quality of our DCT pool is the single biggest factor determining whether clients stay or leave.
As DCT Recruitment Specialist for the Americas — covering North America, Central America, and South America , your job is to build and maintain a world-class DCT pool in your region. You are not a generic recruiter — you need to deeply understand what makes a great datacenter technician . Source, screen, and recruit Data Center Technicians across facilities in the Americas region
Conduct technical screening interviews — assess hands-on DC skills, not just resume keywords
Verify technician credentials: certifications, references, and work history
Coordinate onboarding of new DCTs: facility access, safety protocols, SOP training
Track DCT performance after deployment — build a feedback loop with the operations team
Continuously expand our DCT coverage to new markets and facilities in your region
Manage relationships with DCT staffing agencies where we use them
Maintain our DCT database with up-to-date availability, skills, and performance ratings
2+ vetted technicians available per facility location in your region
Quality score: 90%+ of deployed DCTs rated "meets or exceeds expectations" by clients
Net addition of 10+ vetted DCTs per month in your region
Freelance / Contractor — you invoice us monthly
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Hubstaff is required for all team members — this is how hours are verified for billing

This is a remote role covering the Americas — covering North America, Central America, and South America . Your shift will cover the Americas (approximately UTC-8 to UTC-3). Initial video call with Michel (CEO) — 30 minutes. Our hiring process includes a paid trial task because we want to evaluate real work, not just interview performance. Our DCTs are the hands and eyes of our company at every facility worldwide. You are the quality gate that ensures only A-players join our technician pool in your region.

Direct datacenter experience — either as a DCT, DC operations manager, or NOC engineer. 1+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or team staffing experience (formal or informal — managing a DCT pool counts)

• Ability to conduct technical interviews and assess hands-on datacenter skills
• Knowledge of DC infrastructure: structured cabling, server racking, cross-connects, PDUs, environmental monitoring
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Organized and detail-oriented — managing a regional DCT database requires precision
• Comfortable using spreadsheets, databases, or ATS tools to track candidates
