Behaviour/ Complexity Coach (1.0 FTE Continuing )
The Chinook School Division requires a full time (1.0 FTE) continuing Behaviour/ Complexity Coach to provide division support for student behaviour beginning August 26, 2026.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a school setting is required.
Ability to work with youth with learning or behavioral challenges as well as social emotional issues
Demonstrated education and experience in working with difficult behaviors is required. Special education teacher qualifications, Social Work or Masters of Psychology would be an asset.
Willingness to attend professional development training and the ability (or demonstrated experience) to support professional development for staff
Knowledge of restitution and/or control theory
Proven ability to self-evaluate for personal growth
Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student-centered learning environment in addition to having an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom
A willingness to be part of a collaborative educational team by joining a division team to support the behavioural challenges within the classroom.
Professional learning community knowledge and background
Ability to work effectively within an environment which includes developing meaningful and productive relationships with students, families, professionals and community service agencies
Willingness to travel within the division
