GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER (F/M)

Shape Something Different - Join our Rock Mechanics team in Mississauga or Sudbury as a Geological Engineer-in-Training . Under the mentorship of intermediate and senior experts, you'll support mining, closure, and infrastructure projects while collaborating with world-renowned specialists in rock mechanics, geophysics, structural geology, hydrogeology, and geotechnical engineering. Assist with field activities including borehole layout, utility clearances, drill rig supervision, logging boreholes, mapping rock faces, surveying, and inspections.

Summarize and analyze findings from field investigations and lab testing.

Prepare and work with 2D and 3D geological and geotechnical models.

Support geotechnical engineering analysis and design for underground or surface rock excavation and monitoring.

Prepare engineering memos, reports, and presentations.

Participate in multidisciplinary project teams and contribute to innovative solutions.

Learn consulting practices and share technical skills with peers.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geological, Mining, or Geotechnical Engineering.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Ontario.

Familiarity with geotechnical software and ability to assist in report preparation.

Strong organizational skills and adaptability in both field and office environments.
