Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Under the general supervision of the Manager or Therapist, the incumbent is responsible for ordering and stocking respiratory supplies and equipment to modules and critical care areas.

Previous related experience working with Respiratory Therapy equipment and/or in the field of Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Other hospital experience related to ordering, managing or maintaining stock is preferred.

Complete high school education, Manitoba Standards, (science courses preferred).

Year 3 of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Educational Program.

On the job training is provided by the department.

Basic computer and keyboarding skills required.

Use of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) preferred.

Medical terminology preferred.

Excellent English comprehension and written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to lift heavy medical equipment up to 45 kg.

Ability to push wheeled medical equipment.

May be exposed to infectious diseases, blood and body fluids, radiation, toxic materials, noise and allergens.
