IoT Product Development Manager (STM IoT)

The IoT Product Development Manager role is a key part of the Enterprise IoT Product Team within the Rogers Business portfolio. This position is accountable for the end‑to‑end Customer Readiness activities needed to launch and support our IoT product portfolio, including Satellite for IoT.

In this IoT product management role, you will reimagine how enterprises connect, operate, and scale in some of Canada’s most remote regions. You will be responsible for identifying high‑impact digital transformation opportunities enabled by Direct‑to‑Cell IoT—empowering customers to extend connectivity directly into their assets, operations, supply chains, and applications, well beyond the reach of traditional cellular networks.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and responding to emerging satellite standards, spectrum policies, and regulatory considerations that influence product strategy, customer deployment options, and long‑term commercial opportunities.

The successful candidate combines deep telecommunications and IoT expertise with strong customer insight to develop world‑class connectivity offerings. This highly self‑motivated individual contributor will own a high‑growth, emerging market area and operate effectively within an Agile Product Development environment. Develop and maintain customer journeys for the IoT Product portfolio.
Document and maintain customer value propositions and product feature roadmaps.
Meet regularly with customers, business development leads, and technology teams to shape the product strategy.
Ensure product readiness across sales, channels, and operations, including training, collateral, and service documentation.

Collaborate with business development and technology teams to update and enhance the IoT portfolio strategy.
Refresh customer needs analysis, market sizing, and competitive assessments to identify strategic opportunities.
Clearly articulate industry trends, customer insights, and technology developments affecting the portfolio.
Use market research to inform target sectors for IoT‑enabled networks.
Monitor and respond to emerging satellite industry standards, regulatory developments, and spectrum frameworks to ensure product compliance and maintain competitive positioning.

Own all supporting activities related to your portfolio, including product training, sales collateral, funnel management, deal support, bid responses, and overall engagement.
Equip business development and sales teams with tools and resources to articulate solution value and close opportunities confidently.

Experience in Product Management and Agile methodologies.

• 5+ years of experience working with enterprise customers.
• Experience in the Telecom industry would be considered an asset
• Strong financial acumen, including business case development, forecasting, and pricing model expertise.
• Deep understanding of business, technology, and commercial agreements.
