Process Engineering Technician

As a Process Reliability Technician at Photon Control Inc., you will partner with Production and Production Engineering teams to support and advance Equipment Management, Direct production line support, Non-Conformance investigations, Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) and all related documentation. In this role, you will report to the Supervisor of Manufacturing Engineering.
Utilize the Equipment and Chemical Manager application to manage equipment supervision tasks, including Calibration, Verification, Maintenance, and Maintenance-On-Demand (MOD).
Track the full lifecycle of chemicals from receipt and identification to location, issuance, consumption, and disposal.
Contribute to ongoing Continuous Improvement (CI) projects aligned with corporate objectives.
Prepare and review Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing/assembly instructions.
Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong problem-solving abilities, including the use of investigative tools and techniques to identify root causes and assess impact.
Solid problem-solving aptitude, with the ability to assess and understand issues related to system or equipment malfunctions.
Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time.
Operates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing environment.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards, including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heat.

Salary Pay Range: $55,000.00 - 75,000.00 CAD per year. This range is a reasonable expectation of pay for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience, education, training, operational and business needs and other considerations.
