Full Time Pharmacy Assistant

Clarke's Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Thompson, Manitoba. Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care
Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner
Assist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician
Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits
Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers
Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy setting, with a foundational understanding of pharmacy operations and business practices.
Highly skilled in the use of Kroll, with strong accuracy and efficiency in prescription data entry.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of Pharmacare/insurance billing processes and clinical services flagging.
Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is an asset.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
40 hours per week (Full-time)
~ The store operates Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. Regular shifts will be scheduled within these hours, with occasional Saturday shifts required to support business needs.
