The Labourer is required to perform tasks involving physical labour at commercial construction projects and to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
Qualifications :
- 12 years of experience in concrete construction formwork or general labour preferred.
- Ability to assist with setting up and stripping formwork placing and finishing concrete and cleaning tools and equipment.
- Capable of measuring cutting and handling materials such as lumber plywood rebar and form hardware.
- Assist in setting up and stripping concrete formwork for footings walls slabs cores and columns.
- Help with placing vibrating and finishing concrete under supervision.
- Work collaboratively with formwork carpenters equipment operators and supervisors.
- As the last step in the recruitment process selected candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment physical testing screen to assess their ability to perform the essential functions of the job. This step ensures a safe and effective work environment for all employees.
