You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment while delivering top-notch service to our customers. Field Service Technician (Rotating Equipment & Precision Millwrighting)

The Opportunity: Are you a mechanical expert who thrives on finding the root cause of failure and rebuilding equipment to run better than before? We are looking for a talented Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment. Mechanical Craft
Precision Assembly & Alignment: Lead the installation and removal of AC/DC motors and coupled equipment. Perform laser alignments and set critical air gaps and mechanical seals to OEM specifications.
Detailed Mechanical Inspections: Utilize precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators) to diagnose wear, verify tolerances, and ensure equipment integrity.
Technical Testing: Perform essential diagnostic tests using a variety of portable electronic equipment (Megger®, PdMA MCE, Multimeter, and DLRO) to ensure system reliability.
Specialized Maintenance: Clean and prep electro-mechanical equipment utilizing bead blasting, ice blasting, and solvent cleaning to ensure a professional finish.
Adhere to strict safety standards while working independently or as part of a high-performing team to hit mutual project goals.

Qualifications and Mechanical Competencies:
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps, or similar rotating industrial equipment.
Proven ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical failures in a fast-paced, continuous improvement environment.
Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate technical findings professionally.
willing to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as needed for on-call field service.
Technical Extras (Preferred): Experience with PdMA testing or Level I Vibration Analysis is a significant plus.
