About Our Saint John Clinic

The clinical team at Saint John are passionate about enriching the health of their clients through a holistic approach, as the Occupational Therapist, you will support clients  in a variety of ways such as concussion management and return to function planning, and provide a comprehensive, objective assessment of an individual's physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities, particularly in relation to work demands or daily life activities.

Our clinic is in Saint John, nestled on the powerful Bay of Fundy, Saint John is a beautiful, historic, and vibrantly urban city—surrounded by breathtaking and rejuvenating nature experiences.

As our Occupational Therapist you will provide both individual and program-based treatments and assessments for individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries. Occupational Health screenings to evaluate an employee's physical, cognitive, and functional capacity to ensure they can safely perform job duties

Teach techniques like mindfulness, relaxation, and sleep hygiene to manage pain, fatigue, and emotional distress.

As one of the largest networks of OTs in the nation, you will work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, delivering high-quality, client-centered care across multiple clinics, or specific clinic and community settings. Knowledge of current Occupational Therapy standards, modalities and scope of practice; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists in your province.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred
  • Newly Licensed Graduates are accepted
  • In some cases, Proof of Tuberculin (2-Step Mantoux Test) clearance (within 6 months)

Clinical experience is an asset in areas such as brain injury/neurological rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal/orthopedic injury, home safety, ergonomics and/or return to work.

Superior interpersonal relations, communication, problem-solving, time management, computer and documentation skills

Proficiency in computer skills

Proficiency in computer skills.

Bilingualism - French and English are assets.
