Millwright - Plant Maintenance

Job Responsibility:
Job Title: Licensed Millwright Location: Guelph, ON
: We are seeking a skilled and licensed Millwright to join our team in Guelph, ON . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial machinery, with expertise in conveyor belt systems , hydraulics, pneumatics, and motorized vehicles. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate motorized vehicles and equipment to move or lift products, materials, and machinery within and between facilities (e.g., warehouses, storage yards, plant factories, railroad stations, offices, etc.).
Perform repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial machinery, including conveyor belt systems , hydraulics, pneumatics, and other mechanical systems.
Inspect, diagnose, and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Comply with corporate policies and procedures related to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory (FSQR) standards.
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to perform repairs and installations.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve operational efficiency and safety.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 and legally entitled to work in Canada.
Possession of a valid Millwright License (433A - Red Seal) .
Proven experience in repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial machinery, including conveyor belt systems .
Basic knowledge of industrial safety, food safety, and environmental regulations , with a strong commitment to safety.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work under special conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.
Strong ability to read and write in English.
Availability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts as required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the food manufacturing or related industry.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) .
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $39.00-$42.00 per hour
