Our mission as a Finance organization is to lead General Mills in creating strategies that maximize shareholder value, while flawlessly executing our fiduciary responsibility. As a Financial Analyst for Brand Finance, you will be an integral part of the General Mills team and are expected to contribute your ideas and suggestions from day one.

In this role, you’ll be the finance expert for the Snacks business unit, partnering closely with brand management and cross-functional teams to support brand strategies, strengthen the business model and hit operational targets. You will work closely with a team of Brand Managers to help deliver organizational goals by executing the following activities:
Apply financial acumen and technical understanding to provide insights on portfolio profitability, and brands P&L drivers.
Analyze new product launch financials and feasibility and present to various levels of the organization including senior leadership.
Leverage data and information systems to forecast performance and articulate key drivers of change.
Lead monthly Business Unit Monthly Business Review (BU MBR) Process, including content preparation that enables quick decision making and actionable next steps.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any related field

• Ability to synthesize data and provide accurate, meaningful analysis to influence business decisions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, most notably Excel.

International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of Canada) will not be considered.
Given that collaboration is critical to the success of our team members, our teams, and our business, the expectation for this role will be to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. Our policy allows flexibility for the reality of business and personal schedules. Monday and Friday are flexible regarding your work location.
