Job Duties:
- Assess prescriptions for completeness
- Assist in managing patient files by entering their information and prescription details in databases
- Perform medication review and care plan assessment
- Dispense and prepare medication under the pharmacist's supervision
- Help pharmacists and other pharmacy staff with preparing, packaging, blister packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products
- Assist in maintaining inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
- Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams
- May process medical billing information
- May price and stock items on shelves.
Languages: English
Experience: 1-2 years of experience required
Education: Completion of secondary school and several months of job training, or completion of up to two years of a Pharmacy Technical Assistance vocational program.
