Our client:
~ Is a Canadian food processing company and a subsidiary of a well-known family-owned group of companies.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, revise and negotiate commercial contracts.
Provide general corporate and commercial advice.
Manage litigation matters and answer questions related to financing and construction matters.
Conduct legal research, identify issues and recommend legal strategies.
Support a wide variety of corporate and commercial transactions.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of legal experience practicing business law at a large law firm or major corporation.
- Effective communication, analytical and collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate highly complex issues to non lawyers.
- Ability to identify legal risks and work effectively to mitigate them.
- Professional, respective, objective and adaptable.
- Lawyer in good standing with the New Brunswick Bar.
