We are searching for a Payroll Specialist to join our client's team, who will manage end‑to‑end payroll processing for staff and lawyers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high‑quality service. This position is fully focused on payroll and involves close collaboration with HR, Finance, and Payroll leadership. Process bi‑weekly and semi‑monthly payroll
Validate payroll inputs such as new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, and retro adjustments
Maintain and update payroll data in Workday Payroll
Support system configuration updates, testing, and data integrity
Manage statutory deductions (CPP/QPP, EI, income tax, EHT, CNESST, WSIB/WCB, and others)
Perform payroll reconciliations and support payroll‑to‑finance interfaces
Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits
Respond to payroll‑related inquiries professionally and effectively
2–3 years of full‑cycle payroll experience
- Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation
- Experience with Workday Payroll or similar systems
- Experience in professional services environments is an asset
- Bilingual English/French is an asset
Hybrid (4 days in office/ 1 work from home)
72,000 – $82,000 + bonus
