Description and Requirements
We are seeking a highly experienced and telecommunications-savvy Solution Architect with a mandatory and strong background in the Netcracker platform to design and oversee the implementation of complex OSS (Operations Support Systems) or BSS (Business Support Systems) solutions. This is a remote position based in Canada . The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated expertise with Netcracker's comprehensive suite of modules and a proven track record of delivering innovative, high-quality solutions within the dynamic telco space. You will serve as a key technical leader, collaborating with stakeholders to translate intricate business requirements into robust architectural designs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client-specific needs.
Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture Design & Development:
Design and develop comprehensive architectural solutions for complex telecommunications systems, with a strong focus on the Netcracker platform (OSS or BSS domains).
Create and maintain essential solution architecture artifacts, including high-level and detailed design documents, ensuring clarity and precision.
Oversee the end-to-end implementation of Netcracker-based solutions, from design through deployment.
Business & Technical Translation:
Collaborate extensively with stakeholders to thoroughly understand business requirements and effectively translate them into actionable, scalable technical solutions.
Technical Leadership & Guidance:
Provide strong technical leadership and expert guidance to development teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, fostering best practices and ensuring solution integrity.
Conduct rigorous technical reviews and proactive risk assessments of proposed solutions, identifying and mitigating potential challenges.
Mentor junior team members, actively fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth within the organization.
Standardization & Innovation:
Ensure that all solutions meticulously align with industry standards, best practices, and stringent client-specific requirements.
Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and Netcracker platform enhancements to optimize and innovate existing systems.
Pre-Sales & Stakeholder Engagement:
Participate actively in pre-sales activities, including the development of compelling proposals and engaging client presentations.
Maintain strong communication and foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Solution Architect or similar role.
Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in the telecommunications industry.
Mandatory hands-on experience with the Netcracker platform (OSS or BSS domains).
Proven track record of successful solution design and implementation within the telco sector.
Netcracker Platform Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of the Netcracker platform (OSS or BSS modules).
Hands-on experience in relevant Netcracker modules: Offer Catalog, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Inventory, and Integrations.
Telecommunications & System Architecture:
Strong understanding of telecommunications systems, protocols, and industry standards.
Expertise in system integration, robust API design, and microservices architecture.
Understanding of network technologies (e.g., 4G, 5G, VoIP, IMS).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in cloud technologies and their practical application in telco environments.
Knowledge of database design and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Experience with performance tuning and scalability planning.
Problem-Solving & Communication:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Self-driven with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
Adaptability to rapidly changing technologies and business requirements.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Solution Architect Professional certifications.
Experience with multiple BSS/OSS platforms.
Knowledge of AI/ML applications in telecommunications.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the telco industry.
