As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you’ll work as a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, helping clients reach their highest level of independence in self-care, work, and leisure activities. You’ll also act as a resource and consultant to colleagues, other disciplines, and community partners, supporting the best possible care for each client

Degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy program
Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and thorough knowledge of its Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
Ability to manage a clinical practice in a health care setting
Ability to complete analysis, using clinical knowledge, skill and judgement to synthesize assessment information
Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
Ability to work independently, interdependently, and participate as a contributing member of a variety of teams within the workplace, community, and ministries/agencies
Strong project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Assets:
Membership in Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) and/or Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT) is strongly encouraged
Experience with the neurological/stroke and palliative populations considered an asset

Offers of employment made to external candidates are conditional upon providing proof of a complete primary series of Health Canada approved mRNA COVID-19 vaccine or proof of valid medical exemption, prior to the offered effective date. May be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation.
