Service New Brunswick is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join its Technology Services Division within the Health Application Services unit as Supervisor with the Horizon Clinical and Community Care Team .

As part of SNBs Technology Services Division youll join a team of over 800 professionals delivering essential IT services to all GNB departments and Regional Health Authorities. Reporting to the Manager of Health Application Services you will supervise a dynamic team responsible for the delivery maintenance and support of a portfolio of health systems used by stakeholders across the province. Many of these applications are critical to patient care and clinical decision-making.
Providing guidance training coaching and mentoring to build and sustain a high-performing team.
Supervising organizing and prioritizing project and task workloads assigning work to the most qualified individuals.
Evaluating team members to support their performance professional growth and development including identifying training needs and creating work plans.
Using data analytics to assess processes identify requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations.
A university degree in Business Administration or Computer Science and a minimum of six (6) years of progressive related experience with a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Subject to the response to this competition an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered or the required years of experience may be the event there are no candidates who demonstrate the essential qualifications required for the PB6 level we may consider appointing at a lower classification.
Written and spoken competence in English is required.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate they have training or experience in one or more of the following areas:
Demonstrated data analysis experience
Demonstrated experience with the health care environment
Experience with the principles of project management problemsolvingandchange management
Subject to the response to this competition candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.
This position may require some travel and you must possess a valid drivers license.
This position requires periodic flexibility in working hours which includes evenings and weekends and will participate in an on-call rotation.
