Yard Shunter Location Mississauga, ON : As a Yard Shunter, you will be responsible for moving the heavy-duty vehicles in the Yard. Operate and move trucks and trailers within the distribution yard safely and efficiently.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Load and unload shipments as required.
Maintain accurate records of all trucks and trailers entering and exiting the yard.
Communicate with the distribution team to ensure timely loading and unloading of shipments.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be 18 years or older.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Yard Shunter or truck driving.
Can drive both automatic and standard trucks.
Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to operate various types of trucks and trailers.
