Reporting to the Director of Perinatal Epidemiology Research Unit and the Research Administrator for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Research Office, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to PERU as well as the broader Obstetrics & Gynaecology Research Office.

The Administrative Assistant supports faculty and research staff by coordinating administrative activities, assisting with research and education initiatives, maintaining online and internal information sources, coordinating meetings and events, supporting research personnel payroll and onboarding processes, and providing financial tracking and general administrative support for research projects and personnel.
Monday to Friday, 75 hours biweekly.
Graduate of a Bachelor of Office Administration program or equivalent required
Superior computer skills and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience with Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom considered an asset
Experience with REDCap is considered an asset
Experience in website maintenance considered an asset
Minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute with accuracy
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping
Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work with minimal supervision
