Geotechnical / Materials Testing Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in our dynamic team in any of our geotechnical and materials engineering New Brunswick offices located in Saint John Fredericton or Moncton . Our geotechnical division specializes in geotechnical and materials engineering consulting. This division of CBCL has grown to become a leading regional provider of these engineering services to the commercial institutional heavy industrial transportation municipal infrastructure energy & utilities and large residential sectors.

Providing geotechnical engineering support for subsurface investigations and geotechnical analysis and design;
Developing directing and implementing geotechnical field programs;
Assisting with or carrying out various data analyses;
Assisting with various field activities including drilling test pitting and inspections and testing services on construction projects;
Being responsible for product quality control with adherence to company standards;
Developing your technical skills and sharing these skills with other members of your team;
University graduate with a Degree in Geotechnical Geological or Civil (Geotechnical) Engineering (masters degree preferred);
Approximately 5 years of relevant working experience in geotechnical engineering;
A sound base in the application of geotechnical engineering to problem solving;
Ability and willingness to travel.
