Hospitality Host - Part Time

Summary:
We are looking for a welcoming and organized Winery Host to create a memorable experience for our guests from arrival to departure. If you have excellent people skills and a knack for coordination, this role is perfect for you! You will be the first point of contact, managing reservations, assisting guests, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
Manage reservations and monitor waitlists, providing accurate wait times.
Escort guests to their assigned dining or bar areas and introduce them to their server.
Provide menus and assist with seating arrangements in coordination with the wait staff.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Cater to guests with additional needs (e.g., children, elderly).
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally.
Assist the service team as needed to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a similar hospitality role is an asset.
Strong customer service and communication skills (in-person and over the phone).
Familiarity with restaurant etiquette, reservations, and seating coordination.
Ability to multitask and maintain a welcoming environment in a fast-paced setting.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Good physical stamina to stand and walk throughout shifts.
High school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus.
Preferred Certification:
~ Smart Serve Certificate (preferred)
