THE ROLE
An established mid-sized architectural and design firm is seeking an experienced Construction Contract Administrator to join their dynamic team. The role involves leading and managing projects across multi-family residential, mixed-use, commercial, and institutional sectors while ensuring technical excellence and contractual compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and monitor medium to large-scale projects through the CA process
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery , adherence to contracts, timelines, and budgets.
Provide technical guidance , anticipate challenges, and recommend substitutions that meet specifications.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive contract documentation (RFIs, site instructions, change orders, progress claims, project close-out records).
Develop project summary sheets showcasing past experience, preferably in condominium, mixed-use, commercial or institutional projects .
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–7+ years in the North American architectural industry, with experience as a Construction Contract Administrator on moderately complex projects.
- Educational/professional background as an Architectural Technologist , Bachelor of Architecture , or PMP credential.
- CCCA designation (CSC) preferred or in-progress.
- Strong understanding of building codes, building science, and construction best practices .
- Proficient in Revit ; experience with contract administration software (e.g., Rform) is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills .
- Valid G driver’s license .
