The Hydraulic Design Engineer will act as a central hydraulic design resource to support the personnel related to design of hydraulic passageways of hydro turbines at all stages for both new units, runner replacements and rehabilitation projects. Performing CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analyses;
Support for bids, including preliminary design and design reviews;
Analysis of design requirements;
Collaborating with mechanical engineering and contract hydraulic engineers to ensure the continuous execution of development contracts.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree his highly desirable;
Ideally, minimum of five (5) years of experience in hydro engineering;
Knowledge of commercial and technical aspects of hydro-electric power plant equipment;
Interest in programming with ideally some experience in bash and Python scripting
Fluency in French and English – spoken and written.
