Web Engineer - Remote

Starting out as a website builder in 2015, Shogun has expanded into an all-in-one platform for ecommerce conversion rate optimization; offering AB testing, Personalization, and SEO feature sets in addition to its flagship visual editing and content management offerings. Fully distributed from inception, Shogun has been recognized as a pre-pandemic pioneer of remote work. As our Shopify Developer, you will be the technical resource for our Support team to turn to for assisting our merchants. Design and implement Shopify Demo stores for Shogun's Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Marketing and Support teams, using the latest Shogun feature releases
Serve as the resident Shopify expert by staying up to date on newest releases
Passionate about web development and ecommerce
Has customer empathy and focus
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for Shopify stores
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Previous customer support or client-facing experience
