Plate/Tank Estimator

They serve a wide range of sectors including industrial, commercial, institutional, and energy, successfully delivering complex projects across the globe. Their strong reputation is built on attention to detail, transparency, and consistently meeting project timelines and budgets.
They are currently seeking a Plate/Tank Estimator to join their expanding team. Prepare accurate cost estimates for plate and tank fabrication projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs
Review technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to determine project scope and requirements
Identify potential challenges, material requirements, and opportunities for cost optimization
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing for materials and services
Communicate with clients to clarify project details and ensure expectations are clearly understood
Maintain detailed documentation of estimates, quotations, and project cost data
Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
Strong proficiency with estimating software
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
Solid knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
