At Grissin Bon, we know that people connect over food, which is why our products are made with the highest quality ingredients that are meant to be shared. As part of Grissin Bon Production Team the Machine Operator position will be responsible for operating multi-function process control and single-function machines to process and package food products. They perform material handling, clean-up, packaging and other elemental activities related to food processing and are responsible for production, quality, and food safety on the production line.
Shift Schedule:
~ Night Shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
Reporting into the Shift Supervisor
Ensure all process and products follow GMP's, HACCP, WHMIS, Health & Food Safety standards
Assist Line Leader with plant start up and shut down, and troubleshooting issues
Assist Line Leader with loading of palm oil and raw materials when needed
Ensure Critical Control Points checks are completed
Feed and unload food and associated products into processing machines
Collect samples of materials or products, check and record parameters for QA testing
Communicate continuously any production issues to Line leader or Machine Operators downstream to enable time to prepare & deal with scrap and line difficulties
Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials throughout plant and warehouse manually, or with powered equipment
Previous experience as a machine operator within industrial baking, GMP regulated food & beverage or consumer packaged goods industry required
Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent hand & eye co-ordination
Adherence to Grissin Bon Food Safety & Health & Safety policies and procedures
Sense of urgency, attention to detail and ownership in quality of work
Work/Food Safety focus and deliver results to support production process.
