Switchboard Operator I

Tax Team
TaxTeam is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Multi-Line Switchboard Operator to support our office during the busy tax season.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system and direct calls efficiently
- Greet callers in a professional and courteous manner
- Screen, transfer, and document calls, taking accurate messages as needed
- Provide general information about TaxTeam's services and departments
- Maintain accurate call logs and related records
- Assist with clerical and administrative tasks, including filing and data entry
- Remain calm and professional when handling urgent or unexpected situations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in a switchboard, reception, or customer service role is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Basic computer skills and comfort using office equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Availability through April 30 is required
