Job : The Gestational Diabetes Nurse Educator will assist in the development, organization, implementation and evaluation of specific educational needs and services for people with gestational diabetes who have been referred.
Experience with planning, implementation, quality monitoring and evaluation.
- Experience in nursing in the specific clinical area
- in Perinatal/Obstetrical registered nursing
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Basic - Computer skills
Knowledge in nursing process and principles of adult learning
- Must attain and maintain membership in the Diabetes Educator Sector of the CDA
- Previous experience in nursing education is desirable
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
