MacEwan University invites applicants for a full-time 6-month replacement term Laboratory Technician opportunity with our Faculty of Nursing, within the Clinical Simulation Centre (CSC). Reporting to the Associate Dean, you will be a resource to faculty, staff and students, helping with ordering, organizing and coordinating equipment and supplies, as well as supporting the general organization of the laboratory environment. Organizing equipment and supplies inventory to ensure systematic and effective distribution of resources;

• Tracking, ordering and receiving equipment and materials;
• Researching, recommending and testing new equipment and supplies;
• Maintaining the WHMIS binder in the lab environments;
• Supporting lab activities and operations.

Knowledge of laboratory equipment and materials;

~ Proficiency in using material management software.
A minimum of 2 years' experience with materials management and working in a clinical setting.

Experience working in a post-secondary institution laboratory is considered an asset.
