Founded in 2019, Felix is a digital healthcare company that puts the patient in control of their own health and wellbeing. We’re passionate about building technology and beautiful customer experiences to make healthcare more accessible (and more enjoyable) for all Canadians.
Felix is Canada's first end-to-end healthcare experience, providing online treatment, prescription delivery and ongoing care. We deliver care across a growing range of daily health categories such as weight loss, birth control, menopause, erectile dysfunction, acne and more.
We are looking for Intermediate and Senior Engineers to join the Felix Engineering team!
You will write the code and build the architecture that supports our proprietary digital healthcare ecosystem. Our developer roles are all full stack (Vue.js, PHP/Laravel). You will work in collaboration with teammates and will be fundamentally responsible for the technical requirements and management of our front-end and back-end systems that power our patient, health-care practitioner and pharmacist experiences. Build our back-end system and front-end systems including architectural patterns, technical specifications and designs to managing our database
Write code and build the software that will allow us to scale as we launch new products, enter new markets and expand into new healthcare categories
Help us improve the reliability of our platform through rigorous testing, observability, and monitoring and identify areas for system optimization and improvement
Have 3+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, building scalable web applications
Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies, such as PHP/Laravel, JavaScript and Vue, with a drive to stay up-to-date with ongoing changes and advancements
Clear communication around technical concepts and can collaborate with Product
Comfort with ambiguity, an ability to create clarity and eagerness to problem solve and move projects and the team forward

Location: Toronto, Remote (Canada). We have an office in Toronto, but are currently working remotely and open to candidates from anywhere in Canada.
