Grinder Operator
We are looking for a Grinder Operator to join our BC Eco team. The position and scope of work requires that this will be a mobile operation and job sites are at various locations in the Southern Interior and Kootenay regions of BC, with the possibility of remote work in North/Central BC. We put the happiness, success, and growth of our team members and community first. LOA and travel expenses are paid for remote work
Support pick-up truck and tool trailer supplied
Weekly overtime hours are common

Health & Safety Policy & Programs
Operate a CBI 5800 Grinder and feed it with a hydraulic Log Loader with grapple
Feed waste wood and logs, loading into a trailer or building a pile
Handle piling materials and equipment maintenance
Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
Operate other heavy equipment as required and instructed by site supervisors.
Travel to various job sites daily
Ensure company policies, core values and culture are being consistently upheld.
General job set-up, site clean up, and materials removal.
Experience running a Grinder or Chipper would be an asset
Strong mechanical aptitude
Willingness to travel
Valid Class 5 driver's licence
Willing to travel to different worksites daily
