Student - Maintenance Person

The Opportunity Keyano College is currently seeking an energetic, hardworking student to assist with a variety of general grounds/maintenance duties. The successful candidate will report to the Facilities Manager. This Student position will start on June 8, 2026 end on or before August 31, 2026; Note: This opportunity is for the current enrolled student in the college. Keyano College is a comprehensive post-secondary educational institution located in Fort McMurray, nested in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo on traditional Treaty 8 territory. Responsibilities will include assisting the Maintenance team in a number of indoor/outdoor activities including planting flowers, lawn maintenance, painting, and other related grounds maintenance duties not specifically outlined above. Additional duties may include moving furniture and appliances, garbage removal, and event setup
Must be a Keyano student and legally allowed to work on-campus
Clean Class 5 driver’s license
Work with ladders, stairs, and lifting heavy equipment as required.
Ability to work a variety of shifts (a minimum of 3 hours in length), including mornings, afternoons, and evenings between 8 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and possibly weekends.
Compensation: - CUPE Student $24.63 per hour
