Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of Pediatrics and the Manager of Childrens Inpatient and Ambulatory Care the administrative assistant provides support to designated members of the Division of Respirology and the Divisions Cystic Fibrosis/Chest Clinic. Scheduling and coordinating CF/Chest Clinic patient appointments; Making travel arrangements; Processing claims; Answering phone calls and email messages; Entering data and maintaining databases; Monday to Friday 7 hour shifts 08:00-4:00 or 08:30-4:30
Minimum High School Diploma or G.Graduate of a recognized Office Administration program required.
Minimum six (6) months of related administrative experience required. Experience in Meditech Outlook DalMedix Adobe Acrobat Access E-forms SAP and the Internet is an asset.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs/technology is required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.
Committed to continual learning and willing to share knowledge and support development of co-workers.
Experience organizing case conferences meetings guest visits and teleconferences an asset.
Experience in a related role in a health centre or university/academic environment preferred.
