Reporting Finance Manager

Dream is looking for a Manager, Financial Reporting!

We are always looking for the best and brightest to join our thriving community. Dream’s Corporate Accounting team is currently looking for a Manager, Financial Reporting to join their team.

You are able to work independently on multiple projects with tight deadlines and pivot to new priorities when needed.

Research complex accounting issues, corporate transactions, and draft technical accounting policies and documentation;

Review or prepare financial analyses for management reporting, including analysis of key financial performance metrics;

Manage relationships with our external and internal audit teams, overseeing audit support and ensuring efficient and timely audit execution;

Manage and contribute to the corporate accounting process;

Support the corporate G&A budgeting and forecasting process;

Maintain strong internal controls, including updating and maintaining the documentation of controls;

Identify report automation and process improvement opportunities and manage/support corporate accounting and cross-functional projects;

Support the Tax department on compliance reporting information requests and financial inquiries; These are some of the things we would like you to bring to the table:

CPA, CA with minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience, preferably with experience in public company reporting;

Experience in leading/managing a small team of finance professionals;

Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, extra points if in a real estate environment;

Experience with consolidation, complex accounting issues, acquisitions and dispositions, and joint arrangement structures;

Experience with financial accounting systems – JD Edwards experience considered a strong asset but not a requirement;

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas;

This is a regular, full-time position with a base salary range of $105,000-$120,000.
