American Iron & Metal has an opening for an enthusiastic individual to fill a General Labourer/Brakeman position at our Transloading Facility in Moncton.
Duties Will Include:
Working outside in all weather conditions
Performing Brakeman duties weighing placing and shipping rail cars
Assist trucks in to the unloading position and helping Operators in small tasks around the heavy equipment
Manage the car inventory and keeping track of material
Other general labour duties will apply
Qualifications :
Rail 105 considered an asset
Previous recycling experience is considered an asset
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Must be able to lift up-to 50lbs
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team orientated environment
Ability to work in a loud dusty environment
Additional Information :
We Offer:
Full time hours with potential overtime paid after 44 hours
Shifts run Monday - Friday (potential weekends)
