Lush is seeking a creative Photographer for its in-house Film and Photo team, positioned within our Brand department. Reporting to the Film and Photo Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality photography to be used across all Lush platforms. You will do this in partnership with the Film and Photo Manager and our in house Videographer and Producer.
In pre production you are creative, organized and realistic. On set, you have a creative vision, strong lighting skills, are detail orientated and efficient whilst creating an inclusive and comfortable set for talent and co-workers. In post you work swiftly, retouch to a high standard, ensure imagery aligns tonally to brand guidelines and the creative brief and apply feedback as needed.
As a Lush enthusiast and talented visual storyteller, you’ll ensure that all imagery we are sharing is created and edited to the highest standards possible. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of the Brand team at Lush, working with a lot of caring and creative people, to promote products that make a difference.
Work with the Producer and Art Director to ensure everything for the shoot aligns to the creative
Product and lifestyle photography in support of multiple brand initiatives including website/ecommerce, print, social, PR, internal communications etc.
Make technical and creative decisions regarding locations, appropriate lighting, shooting angles and set design
Assisting Filmmakers and Production team on larger scale projects
Manage digital assets for delivery including uploading, archiving and tagging
Maintain and collaborate on creative and technical standards for photography that remain consistent with the overall brand
This role entails travel, sometimes at short notice, generally once or twice per quarter but sometimes more.
Advanced Photoshop and Capture One knowledge and retouching experience
Strong and diverse shooting experience (from studio to outdoor/indoor locations)
Advanced knowledge of strobe lighting techniques (Profoto)
Familiarity with project management software and DAM systems
Ability to work individually and collaborate with wider teams on larger projects
Confident working with and managing freelance crews where necessary
Ability to travel to and from photoshoot sites as needed
At least 5 years existing photo industry experience, working at a commercial/professional capacity
Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
Wide range of photography experience across commercial, social and event
Knowledge of video production (filming, editing, etc.)
Set design/building experience
