Truck Driver - Heavy Hauler At EllisDon, we're constantly pushing the limits of what we've done in the past - propelling ourselves toward bigger and better opportunities, while exploring new market sectors and services. We hire these types of people knowing they are as diverse as we are, and they come on board because they share our core values. Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM -5:30 PM. (Must be willing to work evenings and weekends (on-call rotation)
Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Haul overed heavy equipment to various locations, in a safe and professional manner.
Load and unload heavy equipment.
Read and understand transport plan beforehand in order to know whether it is free from obstacles and is accessible.
Assemble, configure, and dissemble of Tractor Trailer.
assure all transports are within load limits of equipment and correctly secured.
Operate the trailers in simple and complex transports according to job requirements.
Experience hauling oversized heavy equipment.
Experience operating equipment to load and unload required.
A minimum 2- 5 years previous experience hauling all types of equipment including Trailers and Hydraulic Platform Trailers (Jeep/Lowboy makes preferred) and winch trucks required.
Proficient in English language.
Good judgement and ability to react quickly in emergency situations.
Mechanical ability to make minor repairs when needed.
Positive and professional attitude: commitment to provide superior customer service.
Commitment to safety performance.
Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license is required.
A reliable means of transportation is required.
Proficient English language skills required.
