Energy Management Engineer

Cariboo Pulp is currently recruiting for a 4th or 3rd Class Power Engineer. Reporting to the Shift Engineer, the power engineer is responsible for ensuring consistent operations of Steam Plant equipment. Ensuring consistent operations of the Steam Plant in a pulp mill
Operating in a shift crew
Chemical recovery boiler
Water treatment and Effluent treatment plants
Experience as a power engineer with increasing responsibility
A 4th or 3rd class power engineering certificate
Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
The hourly pay rate for this position will follow the collective agreement between Unifor 1115 and Cariboo Pulp Ltd. Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays.
