Visual Designer - Junior (remote)

Based on the quality of our work, we are having terrific fun at reVerb.

We serve a variety of public and private clients on projects ranging from bespoke marketing, to professional media training, to municipal audits, all the way up to managing communications and engagement on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the province, including the Capital and Valley Line LRT expansions and the Queen Elizabeth 2 Highway expansion.

All this work requires good design, though, and we need to hire another designer to share in the fun.

At a base level, we need someone educated and conversant in graphics design, visual communication theory, and materials production aligned with meeting a variety of corporate needs. We need a colleague comfortable keeping our web standards organized, our branding polished, and smiles photo-edited onto our CEO’s corporate headshot.

If you can do all that, we’re also always on the lookout for additional skills you might bring to the team. In particular, we’re on the hunt for these other background and skill areas related to our current work:

Indigenous design and/or engagement experience

Video and/or audio mixing and editing experience

Social media management and channel development experience

Compensation range is estimated at $48,000 to $66,000 dependent on skills, experience, and attitude, and the position comes with a complete health benefits package. Work is a mixture of in-office and remote, with some days required in office--no fully remote applicants, please. Expected experience ranges from fresh graduate to 1-3 years agency or similar experience... but if you fall outside these bounds and we like you we're happy to see what could be worked out.

We work in a fast-paced environment with a tight knit team and… really, if you can draw pretty and are a pretty good person, we’d love to have you on the team.
