Although the position is designated to the Apheresis Program, the position will have responsibilities in the Transplant and Cellular Therapy as well as in the vascular access program as it relates to patients and donors undergoing apheresis procedures.
Rotation/Shifts
Days, 8 hour shifts.

Certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario;
Minimum three (3) months general nursing experience;
Minimum of three (3) months experience in one or more of the following programs: vascular access, critical care, Transplant and Cellular Therapy;
Theoretical knowledge of apheresis including collection of hematopoietic stem cells;
Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in an oral and written format with patients, public, colleagues and other health disciplines;
Identifies a commitment to personal continuing education activities;
A degree in Nursing;
Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
