Associate Manager, Operations Management

Scopely is looking for an Associate Live Ops Manager to help launch and manage a soon-to-be announced AAA game. The candidate will help deliver the game’s Live Ops execution to provide best-in-class consumer experiences that are addictive, appealing and inherently social.

In this role, the Associate Live Ops Manager will work closely with embedded Data Analysts, PMs, Game Designers, Economy Designers, and Live Ops Artists to create outstanding game experiences that optimize franchise retention and monetization metrics. The ideal candidate embraces a team-first mentality, is flexible, highly motivated, and approachable, with excellent communication skills acquired through experience in the gaming industry.

Execute on the Live Operations strategy and events for an RPG product, with a focus on implementation

Implement content detailed on a complete Live Ops roadmap, including content such as offers, storefronts, events, social modes, and supporting the design and execution of the Live Ops strategy for a new game title

Collaborate cross-functionally with Game Design, Product, Analytics, Community, Customer Relations, QA, Art, and Engineering teams to achieve Scopely goals (e.g., economy tuning, live ops design, maintenance) and ensure engaging new content and monetization events are delivered to the highest quality

Measure events performance in relation to sales, features, tests, and results, in order to evaluate the performance of new events, features and game content, relying on gaming market trends and economic research

Provide front-line support in diagnosing and fixing data-side live issues

Perform competitor analysis and be up to date with industry trends, market benchmarks, and emerging best practices

Proven track record of delivering data-side content updates on market leading products, preferably RPG or collection RPG titles

Experience with A/B testing initiatives to maximize feature KPIs

Strong passion for creating fun, compelling and addictive user experiences.

Goals driven and has a basic understanding of mobile KPI metrics, preferably on collection RPGs

Strong communication skills to be able to coordinate effectively with partner teams such as Product, Design, Analytics, Community, Customer Experience, Marketing, Art, and QA teams

Strong excel / spreadsheet skills; Team first mentality with a proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial approach

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, creative and analytical.
