The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is seeking an individual to join the Fredericton District as Operations Worker II, working in the Construction Branch.
As an Operations Worker II, you will work under the direction of the Senior Resident Engineer and be responsible for:
weighing and checking materials; verifying and recording contents on ticket;
ensuring truck is properly equipped with supplies and equipment;
40-hour work week, with variable hours, including, evenings and weekends, when required.

• Working on job sites in all weather conditions, exposure to dust and fumes.
• Ability to lift and carry survey equipment and walking over uneven or sloping terrain.
• Some travel within the region will be required.
• Completion of grade ten (10) and a minimum of two (2) years related work experience.

Valid Class 5 driver’s license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

Operations Worker II: $27.72 per hour, based on a 40-hour work week.
